I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The hotel facilities were excellent, and I especially loved the breakfast buffet. The staff were incredibly friendly and even surprised me with a birthday cake during my stay. The cleanliness of the room and the main areas of the hotel was consistently good. The location of the hotel was perfect, as it was right next to the Shanghai Botanical Gardens. I had easy access to the gardens through a door on the hotel grounds. Additionally, it was relatively close to the airport, making transportation convenient.

There was nothing I didn't like.

Lots of restaurants to eat close by, like Jixiang Wonton that was only 10 minutes' walk away. Great place for discovering Shanghai. We loved it...

Luxurious and modern rooms that are very clean. Excellent service from the hotel staff.- Good breakfast with Chinese and international cuisine.- Convenient for families with equipped kitchen, washing machine, and dryer

Location is far from the city center and international airport, requiring a 40-minute taxi ride. Lack of English proficiency among the staff, making communication difficult for foreign guests.

It is a great deal if booked through travel web site, direct booking will cost you lot more. Great value for budget traveler. Rooms, service, cleanliness is great. Make sure you request double bed room if travel by 2 persons. Full bath, great furnishing, WI Fi, Working table, great experience. Everything you need for business and comfort for long or short stay. You will pay lot extra at hotel for daily rates. No cancellation charge if booked through travel web site.Location far from city. I took bus plus train to go city. 1 hour from airport and city center. Careful if time is essence.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The location was good, and getting a taxi was never a problem. The restaurant was good with reasonable prices. The staff was very polite and always smiling. Not very good English buy hey is China, what are you expecting? People speak Chinese. A nice quiet hotel.

When I first arrived there it seemed like our reservation was lost. We booked a two beds room but the receptionist said that there were no two beds rooms available and tried to give us a one bed room for a price higher than the one in our reservation. However, I talked to another employee later and she honored the reservation and original price. Also, we talked to the hotel to get us train tickets before our arrival. They said that they could get them for us but a day before the trip they said that train tickets have to be paid for in cash, which was impossible for us because we were not in china yet. So, they didn't get the tickets for us and by the time we got to china they were sold out. We had to buy plane tickets.

The location couldn't have been better, right next to the beautiful Botanic Gardens. We enjoyed exploring the gardens every day and it was so convenient to have access from the hotel grounds. The staff were incredibly friendly and even surprised me with a birthday cake during our stay, which was a lovely touch. The room was spacious and clean, with a great view of the gardens. We also appreciated the amenities such as the ironing facilities, air conditioning, and in-room safe.

We highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Even though it is located far from the center, the hotel lies directly on the edge of the Botanical Garden (which is access able from the hotels grounds) and 2 bus stations are almost in front of the door. The superior rooms are really spacious.

The staff is willing to be friendly but is really overwhelmed with almost everything. Their lack of English isn't helpful either. My feeling is, this hotel isn't fit for foreign guest. But even worst than the straggle to make them cancel their double charging of the deposit or to get actually the room you booked, was the smell in the whole hotel, especially in the lobby - mould fungus!! Its in the air condition system and I guess is comes from the indoor swimming pool which I wouldn't recommend to come any near it. Its disgusting - full of mould, hair, peeling paint and apparently foreigners are not often seen in there. The mould was definitely spreading through die AC as we had mould fungus on the wall opposite of it. Don't go there!!

We had a fantastic stay at a hotel located right next door to beautiful Botanical Gardens. The peaceful and green surroundings were a welcome escape from the bustling city. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the check-in staff were efficient and friendly. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of Chinese and international cuisine. The hotel was relatively close to the airport, making it convenient for our travels.

There was a slight issue with the non-functioning fridge in our villa.

Beautiful surroundings, with lots of greenery and trees everywhere. Convenient location, close to the airport and railway station.- Great breakfast with a variety of options.- Friendly and efficient check-in staff

Some of the beds were uncomfortable, which is a common issue in Chinese hotels. The fridge in the villa was not working properly.
